As a Business Analyst, you will be reporting to Focal’s Chief Executive Officer and collaborate with our sales, operations and finance teams to analyse shipping operations, identify areas for improvement and support projects aimed at increasing efficiency. Your insights and recommendations will play a key role in driving important decisions, ensuring consistency in our operations and supporting the continuity of growth within our company.

• Analyse existing shipping operations and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement and map out relevant business processes.
• Gather, analyse and interpret complex data related to shipping operations and create reports and dashboards to provide insights into performance metrics and market trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams and engage with external stakeholders to understand needs, gather feedback and present data-driven recommendations to management.
• Assist in planning and implementing process improvement initiatives while monitoring project progress to ensure timelines, budgets and deliverables are met.
• Conduct market research and benchmark company performance against industry standards to identify competitive advantages.
• Analyse financial data related to shipping operations and assist with pricing models and profitability assessments.
• Analyse client feedback and vendor performance to improve customer satisfaction and support contract negotiations.
